FireBird

The Firebird is a slavic mythological bird. It's legend represents both blessings but also the fall that comes with gazing upon the peak. Prevalent in legend in Ukraine, Czechia and Slovakia the Firebird is a magnificent bird that elicits light, and its feathers never stop shining, even when they are plucked from its body.

The Firebird is related in mythos as a present or a goal to achieve. Due to it's incredible beauty, many legendary quests were to end with the acquisition of the Firebird. It's beauty is also related in a myth to the creation of a rainbow, as its feathers fell they lit up the skies and created the first ever. It's beauty however can be a curse as well, leading those in pursuit of the beauty to chase it and leave everything else behind in the process.
